My area of research is within music education and music perception. I have conducted research in the area of children’s musical development, music perception and music reading skills. I have studied musical development in infancy and the impact of parent infant music courses and infants’ song acquisition. Recently I conducted a study on the effects of a special music program in preschool on 3-year-olds’ pre-reading skills.
Currently we are working on a study on 3-year-olds’ language and singing abilities. We would like to contribute to current knowledge on singing and language acquisition in childhood.
